Chris Shelton and Digory James created the company to ensure that customers are provided with a full service when looking for a mortgage. With over 20 years’ mortgage experience between them, Chris and Digory have opened a mortgage centre, based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, for customers who wish to have the choice of the whole market place when choosing a mortgage, without having to pay a fee for the advice.

 

Chris comments, “Having worked in banks and estate agents advising customers on their mortgage requirements, we observed that customers preferred not to pay a fee to the company for the advice being given, but at the same they felt that the banks and estate agents could not get the best mortgage deals from the marketplace, particularly as many only have a limited amount of lenders that they can use. Independent mortgage advisers offer the choice to customers as they have access to the whole market place, but many charge customers a fee for the advice”.

 

Your Mortgage Centre aims to offer customers the “best of both worlds”. The company strategy is to provide customers with mortgage and protection advice from the whole market place completely free of charge. Digory says, “Our customers include first-time buyers, buy-to-let investors and those who wish to remortgage. With this in mind we have created a centre to cater for this wide range of mortgage requirements. We feel that the key to our success is focusing on what the customer wants, and by offering free independent advice from our local office, we are giving them the service that they truly deserve”.

 

Your Mortgage Centre also offer franchise opportunities to Experienced Mortgage Advisers, and have recently appointed Veronica Burstow to join the team to cover the Worthing and Arun area. Veronica has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of the mortgage market and this diversity has enhanced the company profile.
